(via Assateague Island)

Enroute at this time with a kayak stop for Assateague Island (upper Virginia coast) in mind, going, or returning;

Made it to Chincoteague Island (south end of Assateague) after a beautiful day and a nice drive today – pollen was so thick in eastern NC that it looked like smoke – cars were blanketed with yellow, don’t think I had ever seen it that bad.

Camping for the night, bed is made and all is good – beverage and cheese-steak now.  Windy with a nice view of the lighthouse and island..
